From the beginning, his first concern was to place the Arab man in this global and Arab reality, until the Arab’s adherence to his dream became a crime punishable by law. In this work, various short poems come as quick flashes that move the mind and emotion together, pushing the reader towards more thinking and action. In « Shots of Mercy », the poet asks questions: « Tell me, man, why are these eyes if you can’t see tomorrow’s sun?! Why these hands if you can’t embrace freedom in the street?! Why your feet if you can’t get them anywhere?! Why these cities, man, that love no one but the police?! This is how Ibrahim Nasrallah is a creative who knew how to restore his revolution to poetry to build a more beautiful world again.
