Noch immer behaupten die alten Sprachen Hebräisch, Griechisch und Latein ihre Stellung am Anfang des Theologiestudiums. Die Modularisierung des Studiums zwingt jedoch nun zu einer Revision. Because in regard to the « question of languages » nothing less is decided as the position of theology within the context of the other sciences and the church. The volume contributes with interdisciplinary considerations to the discussion about an accountable new role of the old languages in the study of theology.
