“This work opens a vista for an in depth study of a social phenomenon—gender and leadership on the African continent—that has been previously explained using largely agreed language and ideas. The text presents ideas, arguments, insightful analysis, and some alternative ideas and brings some new and well- known works of literature and methods and presents a sound problematization. Gender and Leadership will allow the reader to review and rethink the phenomenon in question and add something interesting to common knowledge.”

Morenikeji Asaaju, University of Birmingham
